When I came up with the idea for this podcast, my first instinct was "I must tell everyone!"
Quickly I realized that not everyone thought this was a good idea, but I didn't let them sway me. I knew I had to do it, even if it didn't go far.
I had a few close friends who helped make this show a reality, and I want to make sure they get credit for what they've done!
First, I'd like to thank Sayre Whitford. I am so grateful for the unique background music that he created for the show's intro and outro, as well as any ads you hear. Sayre is an unbelievable luthier, and knows more about music than anyone else I know. He's dedicated most of his adult life to creating beautiful guitars, and teaching people how to play them properly. Thinking about buying a guitar? Find him at https://www.sayreguitars.com/ and have him make something completely unique just for you. You will fall in love with it, and you'll never want to play anything else. Don't hesitate to send him a message with any questions you have. The guy is a musical genius, if he can't solve something for you, he'll probably know someone else who can help.

Go check him out & SOMEONE please tell him how freaking talented he is, because he doesn't listen to me anymore!
Second, I'd like to thank Liz Gallic. The Ditto Podcast logo is so f*cking perfect, and I'm so glad that she was able to help me with it! Liz makes me happy cry maybe as much as I make her happy cry. (Yep, I know that sounds crazy, but #iykyk). Liz was the first person who really said "hell YEAH" to me doing this show. She told me that I had to do it because I'm too passionate about it not to. She's right - I am, and I'm glad I have her in my life to remind me what's important. Liz is one of the brightest and most beautiful souls I have ever known, and I will support her with any and every venture that she decides to take. Knottiness Macrame has come so far since its inception, and I am so glad to see it thriving! She works a full time job in marketing for a local business, but spends her spare time working on Knottiness Macrame. Any other full timers squeezing your dream into your off hours? She gets it, and she'll definitely be on the show to talk about it soon!

Please go give her a follow and send her all of the good vibes and love that she's putting out into the Universe!
Third, I'd like to thank Monique Sourinho. I don't even really know where to start with this woman. She's supported me in every damn thing I've done in the last 3 years. I wouldn't be where I am now without her constant positivity and leadership. Monique is one of those people who is gifted with many different channels of artistic abilities. I'm not saying all of this because she's my friend, its true. As she knows, I was extremely jealous of her even before we met, and then I met her (as she tattooed my boyfriends arm) and she was so damn NICE. I was basically thinking "why did the Universe make her so perfect". Then I eventually got over myself and started trying to offer her my support instead. So bloomed a beautiful friendship; even though I still think she's perfect. Monique has done all of my brand photography, even though she's not actually doing brand work anymore. She makes me feel confident even when I think I look ridiculous, and she can make me laugh so hard that I can't keep my face straight for pictures. If you're looking for someone to "ooh" and "ahh" over, go look her up; her current Instagram WILL make you hungry.

Send her some love, because even the most talented people in the world still need to hear that they're amazing sometimes! (The image of her is by Josh Eskridge, you can find his website by clicking the photo or find him on IG https://www.instagram.com/jeskridge/).
Special thanks to Stefanie Gass for creating Podcast Pro University, because without you and Angie Lee, this show would probably still just be an idea in my head. If you're interested in starting a podcast, I HIGHLY recommend investing in this course. You'll save yourself a whole lot of time and stress headaches, for real.

If you own a business and want to know anything about marketing to your target audience, or finding your niche, stop right now and go find Angie Lee. She can literally sell anything, and will teach you how you can do it too. I went to her event Pays to be Brave in San Diego, California last October. It was life changing.

Last but absolutely not least I'd like to thank my boyfriend, Cody Condry. We've been together so long that I'm surprised he's not totally tired of all of my crazy ideas at this point. Maybe he is, but he's really good at hiding it. Cody doesn't own a business, but he still deserves the recognition here. He's been my biggest supporter since the beginning, and having him back me up makes me feel like maybe I'm not totally nuts. Even though he might not understand why I spend countless hours doing tasks that I could finish on the morrow; he still waits patiently for me to finish the work because he knows how important it is to me. He knows that the community I want to build, and the people I will help is bigger than even I can dream of. He believes in me, even when I don't. He listens to me babble about ideas I'll probably just forget about, and won't let me have coffee because it makes me babble even more. Find yourself a life partner who supports you, and no matter what life throws your way, you'll have each other. (Photo was taken by Melanie Ruth, you can find her website by clicking the image. Thanks for reading this post, I hope that you have friends that you can lean on who are at least half as cool as mine. If not, find some people who are & make them your friends. That's how it works, ya know. We all have something to offer, why not help each other out?
You think we're all pretty cool? Ditto.
